A panoramic journey through desert parks, geology, roads, sculpture, and changing light across the American West.

The experience

Deserts brings together a visually rich location archive spanning the Mojave, Joshua Tree, Valley of Fire, Red Rock Canyon, Borrego Springs, and other western landscapes. It is both a photographic body of work and a foundation for destination storytelling.

01 / Challenge

Make the physical place make sense online.

Help remote visitors understand that desert regions are not empty space, but distinct environments shaped by geology, weather, public lands, human history, and art.

02 / Response

Design the visit, not just the interface.

Organize high-resolution panoramic scenes into a journey through dunes, rock formations, desert roads, historic places, and outdoor sculpture—preserving the scale and changing character of each landscape.

03 / Result

Give every visitor a way into the story.

A compelling demonstration of how immersive destination photography can support trip discovery, environmental interpretation, conservation storytelling, and tourism marketing.
