This government-funded commemoration experience organized decades of history into a place visitors could explore at their own pace—from the road to war through Vietnamization, the fall of Saigon, and the continuing work of remembrance.
01 / Challenge
Make the physical place make sense online.
Present a long, contested, and deeply personal history with chronological clarity while preserving room for artifacts, aircraft, testimony, and commemoration.
02 / Response
Design the visit, not just the interface.
Build a year-by-year spatial narrative enriched with media, interpretive panels, Huey aircraft experiences, commemorative objects, and pathways for deeper investigation.
03 / Result
Give every visitor a way into the story.
A durable historical experience that remains valuable beyond the original funding cycle and is preserved as part of Loren’s public-history portfolio.
