The hangars at Udvar-Hazy are spectacular precisely because of their scale. The virtual experience keeps that sense of awe while giving visitors the orientation and control that an enormous space demands.
01 / Challenge
Make the physical place make sense online.
Make a building filled from floor to ceiling with aircraft and spacecraft understandable on a two-dimensional screen, without losing the drama of the place.

Design the visit, not just the interface.
Pair high-resolution panoramic capture with an orientation system built for the hangar: maps, featured viewpoints, clear scene names, and an accessible text-and-image mode.

Give every visitor a way into the story.
A self-guided experience that supports casual exploration, classroom use, and focused object discovery across the collection.
